Opening your mind

From a relaxed state, I want you to begin to think of the things that you desire to have in your life. I want you to make a list of about 10 things that you want.

1____________________________

2____________________________

3____________________________

4____________________________

5____________________________

6____________________________

7____________________________

8____________________________

9____________________________

10___________________________

Next, I would like you to take these 10 things and put them in the order of importance to you.

1____________________________

2____________________________

3____________________________

4____________________________

5____________________________

6____________________________

7____________________________

8____________________________

9____________________________

10___________________________

I want you to again look at your list of 10 things. This time I would like you to list what each of those things would get for you.

1____________________________

2____________________________

3____________________________

4____________________________

5____________________________

6____________________________

7____________________________

8____________________________

9____________________________

10___________________________

For each of the above ways, list at least one thing that can get you what you want. Say if you originally wanted a kayak, and found that would give you freedom and fun, what else could give you this same thing and maybe better? Remember we are just adding possibilities consciously and your unconscious could find something even better.

So I thought I´d write my list in a response instead of starting a new thread!

This is what I came up with during the seminar! Where do I go from here...?

Things that you want.:

A nice home, travels, an exiting job.

Put them in the order of importance:

1. an exiting job, 2. travels, 3. A nice home

List what each of those things would get for you:

An exiting job would let me feel good about working

Traveling would let me feel like I´m living an interesting life.

A nice home would let me feel good about being home.

List at least one thing that can get you what you want:

Feel good about working : Learn skills, learn to be in control.

Living an interesting life : Get an interesting hobby

Feeling good about being home
: I got nothing Frustrated

Any suggestions?

/Lars

Hi All,

I'm excited to participate and do this for the next two weeks.

Below are my items, but I'm not quite sure if I understood this right or not. Please let me know. If it looks fine, then I'll continue it. If not, any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks again, let's have fun!!!

Opening your mind

From a relaxed state, I want you to begin to think of the things that you desire to have in your life. I want you to make a list of about 10 things that you want.
1. a home with wide open spaces, a ranch I guess with horses, or a vineyard
2. a job that allows me to travel and pays good money
3. a secure home
4. a happy family life
5. a loving wife
6. money to travel often
7. money to help others
8. my mba
9. a degree in languages
10. a script for a movie

Next, I would like you to take these 10 things and put them in the order of importance to you.
1. a happy family life
2. a secure home
3. a job that allows me to travel and pays good money
4. a loving wife
5. money to help others
6. a home with wide open spaces, a ranch I guess with horses, or a vineyard
7. money to travel often
8. a degree in languages
9. my mba
10. a script for a movie

I want you to again look at your list of 10 things. This time I would like you to list what each of those things would get for you.
1. peace, knowing that my children and my spouse are happy
2. peace, knowing that my family and I can always count on coming home
3. excitement and adventure
4. love
5. inner peace
6. tranquility, some adventure, play-fun
7. adventure
8. my original (from when I was younger) dream come true
9. more job opportunities
10. excitement

For each of the above ways, list at least one thing that can get you what you want. Say if you originally wanted a kayak, and found that would give you freedom and fun, what else could give you this same thing and maybe better? Remember we are just adding possibilities consciously and your unconscious could find something even better.
1. extra time to spend with my family
2. having the right job
3. becoming a consultant

Yup. How about having parties or get-togethers with your friends more often. That would make home much more fun. It would also make for a more interesting life.

I might have phrased my self a bit strange... I´ts not that I hate my life, I´m pretty content but content is not good enough!

So what I´m looking for is more the feeling of being in my home and feeling like I found my place in this world. I have lots of friends, but I don´t want them around 24/7 .

So the first thing I did since the seminar was cleaning up my flat (it was not that bad to start with but it feels better when it´s tidy)

The second thing I´m going to do as a start for my two other wants (see last post) is to sign up for the London seminar.

I´m also looking for a new hobby, but it might take care of it self since I´m becoming a father in June..

Good luck to you all during the challenge!

/Lars Wink

Hi Lars,

I feel the same way - just knowing that whereever I may be, I have a place I can call HOME.

I think what you're doing is a good start. I did the same at work, I cleaned and rearranged my desk and it just felt like I was kind of starting new.

Hobbies, I can't help you with, but congratulations on becoming a dad! I have three so the only advice you'll hear from any parent is SLEEP all you can now!!!

Thanks

Hi Folks,

I have a question on whether I did this right - are my goals to high level or are they okay? Should I opt for more material type things?

Thanks for your help

Hey guys

This challenge couldn’t have come at a better time for me really. It was my birthday last week and I promised myself that I would set myself goals and start enjoying my life a lot more. I have been slacking in many areas and not really achieving anything so I am really up for this challenge.

OK so I am only going to do 4 things, I want to focus on them and get them working rather than trying to take on too much at once. I am not sure if I have put too much information

Things I desire;

1) A fit lean body
2) A nice girlfriend
3) The ability to sleep at night (with pills, drink or drugs)
4) Successful online businesses

In order of importance they would be; (this order is used for the last 2 sections)

1) The ability to sleep at night
2) A fit lead body
3) A nice girlfriend
4) Successful online businesses

What each thing would get for me;

1) The ability to sleep at night would allow me to have more energy, to be able to get up early in the morning and be more productive.

2) A fit lean body would make me feel fit and healthy, allow me to buy better clothes and to respect myself more. It would allow me to feel more attractive and give me more confidence with my peers and girls.

3) A nice girlfriend would make me happy and feel natural/normal. Approval of other people.

4) Successful businesses would bring me money and a feeling of security. It would also make me feel important and successful.

What other things would give me the results;

1) Good time management, more exercise and proper diet.

2) The skills to connect with people and have influence over them. Good mental health and getting rid of my mind traps.

3) The ability to connect with people. A true passion in life.

4) Being able to properly relax. To stop being afraid of people and situations all the time. Being able to stick up for myself.

If have put too many reasons or done any past of it incorrectly, please let me know.

Matt

What these get me.

1. Power and Freedom

What's interesting is the the rest of my answers started to get weird. Weird in the sense that a bunch of the emotions that were coming up were very selfish and highly manipulative answers.

My answers such as, manipulation, lust, competitive spirit...in my latter answers confused me at first because, I thought to myself, "I'm not ALLOWED TO HAVE THOSE THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS"

Some of the feelings are the one that society tries TO stomp out of you, so you become part of the herd mentality, not the THINK FOR YOURSELF AND BE SELFISHLY GREEDY ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT mentality. A lot of folks don't want you to have influence and persuasion, because they want it for themselves.

Now I understand why you worried about teaching these powerful skills to people, because you might have thought that a bunch of megalomaniacs would be running rampant.

All that aside, I think some of the issues people have are dealing with these emotions, when people say one thing and you feel another. That brings it back to comfort. Some just want to be safe and have things easy with no struggle or effort.

I always knew I could get what I wanted, but didn't have the support and philosophy that promoted that kind of growth and thinking. Ego is a good thing when it's healthy, nurtured, and validated. No wonder people turn to crime, violence, abuse, drugs, and sex. They know that they can have the experience that they want, but after being suppressed, those natural freedoms become victimized and an eruption of social disturbances ensue.

That's the problem with some telling others what they should do instead of supporting what they can do.

The Monkey Magnet kicks ass!

Ken

1 Recover, reawaken, master my "psychic" abilities
2 Healthy, Lean, Fit, Energetic body, mind, energy field
3 Over $12M (according to USD, liquid asset)
4 Music and Vibrational Mastery
5 Language and communication/vibration mastery
6 Ability to make plans that come to fruition
7 Deep Rolodex
8 Residual Incomes over $1M/mo
9 Mastery over manifestation abilities, understanding, etc.
10 Ability to Resonate with attraction/repulsion, fame/stealth, etc.

Order of Importance?

1 Cash, gold, liquid assets in excess of $12,000,000.00 USD
2 Healthy, lean, fit, energetic body/mind/energy field
3 Mastery over manifestation abilities
4 Recover, reawaken, master "psychic" abilities
5 Residual Incomes in excess of $1,000,000.00 USD/mo
6 Mastery over Language and communication
7 Mastery over Music and vibration
8 Ability to make plans that come to fruition
9 Ability to resonate with attraction/repulsion, fame/stealth, etc.
10 Deep Rolodex

What these give me

1 Freedom and security, release from all past debts, and wings to wherever
2 Energy, well being, self esteem, confidence
3 Ease in living, power to create, protection, deeper living experience - greater satisfaction in living
4 Joyful living, fun, excitement, ease in living, foresight, protection.
5 Ability to partake in global renaissance, fun, satisfaction, excitement
6 Wisdom, depth of understanding, profound satisfaction
7 Power, satisfaction of self expression, release, fulfillment
8 Satisfaction, reputation, self worth/esteem/acknowlegement
9 Ability to Hide or Stand out, fulfillment, protection, insulate, attract
10 Human Resources, option, friends, companions, fulfillment, like that.

What else could give me this?

1 Ultimately, cash does what nothing else can
2 Nothing else will substitute for all your parts and pieces functioning efficiently together
3 Knowing that I won the lottery via intention is priceless compared to the actual winnings. I see no substitute
4 No substitute
5 deep rolodex may help this, but again, cash is king.
6 being able to communicate with absolutely everyone... learning the mother tongue? No substitute
7 No Substitute
8 This is a kind of ego trip, too. I would rather be the man, instead of the guy who knows the man. I can think of exceptions to this, but in the sense I intend originally, no substitute
9 I would love to choose whether I am the man that, when entering the room, all heads turn, and all conversations stop to notice, OR, whether I am so "non-existant" according to their awareness that I could take a dump on their berber and they don't notice how "that got there." Not that I would, but being able to control my vibrational transitions to that extent may be useful crossing the border, or getting a table at the restaurant. No substitute
10 No matter where I am, I know someone to call if I want some help or companionship (is that a word?) No substitute

OK, here´s my rephrasing of my goals (or how the things I want would let me feel) since watching the video blog

1, an exiting job:
The feeling of doing something important with my life. Something to be proud of.

2. Being able to travel:
The feeling of living an interesting/varied life (not the same feeling as "doing something important" but pretty close).

3. A nice home:
The feeling of "having found my place in this world" (the physical place) a place where I can be totally at ease.

It feels like the fog is lifting...

/Lars

Hey Tom,

Thanks for doing this. I think this will really help me since I'm at a point where I'm deciding my next move in life. I've got a job, but I'm getting tired of it so here's what I desire in life:

1. I want a smart and sexy girlfriend
2. I want to have my own business
3. I want to have a lot more friends
4. I want to have more success in life
5. I want to do what I love
6. My own house/apartment
7. A nice sports car

Order of importance.

1. I want to do what I love
2. I want to have my own business
3. I want a smart and sexy girlfriend
4. I want to have a lot more friends
5. I want to have more success in life
6. My own house/apartment
7. A nice sports car

What these things get me:

1. Passion
2. Freedom from my boss
3. Fun, Excitement and Acceptance
4. Acceptance and Companionship and avoiding Loneliness
5. Acceptance and Achievement
6. Achievement
7. Freedom and Excitement

More things that I can think of:

1. Write a book and publish it
2. Become a consultant
3. Help people become more successful in their life

Oh and Tom, the sound quality on the video reply for this was really bad!

Ok, been so busy finally I'm aboe to post my answer to this

Things I want in my life

1. Sex "choosability", I mean, no need to have to get into relationships for default or just to get it
2. A passive income equal to what I do monthly in my full time job now. To have some assets that make it with me not doing sustained efforts to it or at least only taking 6 hours weekly
3. To have more free time. At least I'd like to work only 8 hours daily a week (presently doing 12 a day, because I'm new at this and I'm on the learning curve. I see that my colleges work as hard as I do though)
4. A penthouse apartment in a nice area
5. A 4x4 Honda or Mitshubishi USV (but I could chang my mind and go for another dealer)
6. Health and fitness
7. Get into a cleaner, quieter city

Ordered

1. Sex "choosability"
2. A passive income
3. Health and fitness
4. A penthouse apartment in a nice area
5. To have more free time.
6. A 4x4 Honda or Mitshubishi USV
7. Get into a cleaner, quieter city

what each of those things would get for you.

1. Fulfillment, accepted, healthy, fun.
2. Free time, security, safety.
3. Relax, vigor, better quality of life
4. Status, joy, validated, security as it's an investment (is it Kiyosaky?)
5. restness (I think this could be temporary as I'm very busy right now)
6. Security, comfort.
7. Better quality life, health, more freetime.

what else could give you this same thing and maybe better

1.
a) Getting into a real balanced relationship with "The One"
b) Getting into two or three real balanced relationship with "The Ones" (Laughing )

I can't see other ways rigth now, maybe something'll come up as a result of this later

2.
a) Lowering my life standard more to accumulate more savings (just an idea, but not like it)
b) Changing venues and going into a different line of work

3.
a) Going more to parties
b) Joining some sport team
c) Going out to camping and/or trekking
d) Going more to concerts

4.
a) A house
b) My own business
c) A fat trust
d) Wearing fine clothing anytime

5.
a) Being able to decrease my sleeping time (is it possible?)
b) being fit and exercise a lot
c) Living closer to my job

6.
a) Moving to a quieter city

7.
a) Being smarter and experienced an get my job done in less time
b) Live closer to my job
c) Joining a sport club
d) Eating healthier and at propor times
e) Develop a better confrontation strategy to cope with stress

For Some of them couldn't find much alternatives, maybe some others ideas will get me later as a result of thinking on it.

I didn't spend too much time, just like a 45 minutes to this. Maybe I can come with a refinement.

Tom, Will this be enough to continue with the challenge???

Any comments/Suggestions as usual wellcome

cheers
